Founded by Mark L. Hornyak in January 2001, M. L. Hornyak Fine Art Services is the culmination of over 30 years of experience within the field of visual arts. With a Master of Arts degree from Kent State University, Mark’s life long work as an artist has been paralleled with involvement in gallery, preparatory and art installation businesses.
Mark gained early knowledge and experience with employment by Kent State University Galleries during his graduate studies. He has continued to accumulate expertise through years of associations with numerous museums, galleries and fine art businesses throughout the Cleveland and Akron areas.
In 1979 Mark founded the M. L. Hornyak Studios & Gallery of Kent, Ohio, which he developed into Art Conservation Services, of Cleveland, (1986) a fine arts, conservation framing and installation business. Mark’s path eventually led to a 11 year association with one of Cleveland’s largest art consulting firms where he was responsible for successfully executing hundreds of fine art installations within many of the area’s finest homes businesses and corporations. A selected list of commercial installations include, Advanced Elastomer Systems, American Greetings, Cleveland Federal Courthouse, The Cleveland Indians, Cuyahoga Com. College, Fed Ex, Fidelity Financial, Forest City Enterprises, Huntington Bank, Hyland Software, Jacob’s Group, Lubrizol, The Shamrock Corporation, Nacco Industries, and Parker Hannifin.
M. L. Hornyak Fine Art Services proudly continues to serve residential, professional and commercial clients with Art Installation Design Consulting and Art Installations Services. Experienced and insured, Mark will gladly furnish references upon request.
